Apple Day

Sunday 4th October 2015

Do you have a glut of apples each year?

Well this year why not bring them along to our Apple Day event on Sunday 4th October.

Using high quality hired equipment, we’ll be processing your cooking and eating apples (no crab apples or poor quality apples please) to make delicious apple juice.

In addition, there will be apple-based food, on the BBQ or home-cooked, and drink available for sale and we hope to be able to identify your apples from home.

A great day for all the family to:

  • Bring apples for processing

  • Get involved (kids included) with preparation & chopping, crushing, bottling, waste disposal

  • Play (kids only!!) on the bouncy castle

  • Identify your apples

  • Meet the neighbours and see how it all works

Nearer the time it would be very helpful, for organisational reasons, if you could register you interest. More details to follow.
